At times, I find solace in the fantasy of detaching from everything around me. I envision a house, weightless and suspended in the air, floating far from the noise and pressures of the world. It is in this imagined space that I can escape the constant waves of struggle and stress that hit me at my core. The turmoil of day-to-day life feels like a storm, and the only peace I seek is in the stillness of this mental retreat. Detached from everything, I wait—waiting for the tension to subside, for the heaviness to lift, not knowing what the future holds. This state of suspended calm serves as my refuge, an attempt to regain control when life feels like it’s constantly out of reach. Through this, I am reminded of the necessity to pause, breathe, and allow time to unfold on its own terms.
